I have been involved in co-authoring, co-creating or illustrating a small number of publications and media and links to these can be found below

Using Community Psychology approaches to reduce the impact of inequality through the Community Mental Health Framework

Myself and a group of other psychologists wrote this document as an elaboration on the community mental health transformation agenda. The Agenda is part of the NHS long term plan and emphasises many elements that allign with community psychology. We wanted something that was accessible and useable and the end product is an accessible document with many of my drawings illustrating the sections.

The document is accessible through the British Psychological Society website if you click here.

Discovering Community Psychology Podcast

I was part of a collective that formed during the pandemic and we ended up creating a podcast on community psychology. Over 13 episodes, we interview many people involved in community psychology including clinical psychologists and those involved in projects. The podcast is a great introduction to what community psychology might look like in practice and is accessible through most major platforms including here.

British Psychological Society Community Action and Resilience workstream

During covid, I became part of one of the groups of people that assembled in response to the pandemic. A major part of my role was to assemble a number of resources and work with the BPS to get them on the website. There are a wealth of amazing resources and links to information that are related to celebrating and making space for community resilience and mutual aid. The resources are under different tabs here.

Neighbourhood psychologist job description

One of the community action and resilience workstream's outputs was a neighbourhood psychologist job description. The idea is that it offers a framework for service leads and commissioners to develop roles that have community psychology values heavily embedded in them. I was only a small part of this piece of work, but was very grateful for the opportunity to learn from some amazing community psychologists. The job description can be found here
