Commissions

 

I am currently open to commissions for illustration. There is often a waiting time of several months but I can sometimes fulfil small requests that require no creative consultation quickly. It is always worth emailing me to ask!

Please note that I have put my prices up significantly since starting this work and now charge per illustration. Pro bono work for if I have time may very occasionally be possible so please get in touch to ask.

 

Creative consultation

 

As a clinical psychologist and illustrator, I come with a unique combination of skills. I am able to hold in mind psychological meanings when communicating ideas visually. When taking on illustration work, if an idea isn't already fully formed, I see this as an additional part of the work and am not always readily available to do it alongside commissions.

 

I refer to this work as creative consultation and this includes discussions or reading to support the development of an idea where the commissioner doesn't have a sketch or model to follow or or explicit instructions on what is required.  Previous experience has taught me to be clear on this from the outset.
